Dusenbery/Judelshon Model 3000-16 Semi - Automatic Single Knife Cutter. Year 1990, SN: 59056. This machine is 60" wide with a 1 1/2" Shaft with 3" Sleeve; 18" Blade; 480 Volt, three phase. It will cut a nominal 15" OD roll on a 3" core. 1 1/2" cut shaft for 1 1/2" ID cores. 1" cut shaft with flat. Spray mist system for cutting material with adhesive. The chuck is pneumatic, speed of the chuck is controlled with a new AC drive and motor. A single level cut counter system with totalizer. Automatic knife sharpening. Slit width tolerance of +/- .008". This machine is semi-automatic, the operator enter in his slit widths and loads the material and the machine does the rest. The control system is Mitsubishi PLC. These machines are used to cut a variety of substrates including tapes and non-wovens.  Benick is upgrading the electronics.
