52”wide Goebel Rapid D slitter rewinder. This machine was rebuilt by Web Industries with improvements to roll tensioning and a special rewind shaft assist for light papers. Unwind diameter of 50". Because of Rapid D’s unique design, it’s the best machine for narrow slitting of paper and paper laminates. The rewind has one 3” button style rewind shaft. Footage counter. This machine has recently been rebuilt with a modern Allen Bradley Drive and was fitted with a 4 speed gear box for higher running speeds. Benick fitted a 62” Dusenbery model 296 shaftless pick up from the floor unwind stand. Maximum roll weight of 5000lbs, maximum unwind diameter of 50”, auto edge guide, Montalvo air cooled unwind brake. 6” unwind chucks, lean in idler. This unwind design is good for up to 2000FPM.
