48" Dusenbery Model 635 JD Duplex Slitter Rewinder

One 48" Dusenbery Model 635 JD Slitter Rewinder. Built in 1987 . These persimmon/red machines were the last and latest version of these iconic machines. They are known for versatility, small footprint, and ease of use. This machine has a stand alone unwind capable of 40" diameter rolls and a Fife P-50 pneumatic edge guide. It can operate in either razor or rotary shear methods.[ We can do a modification for score slitting. ] Included are two 3" diameter aluminum core spacer rewind mandrels operating in either two or four zone tension zones and a three inch pneumatic unwind shaft. The upgraded drive consists of a Dura Pulse AC control and a 7.5 HP Black Max AC motor. Normally run speeds range to 500 FPM. The machine can be purchased "as is, where is" in our facility. For most Benick Customers we bring it under power and bring it to our "Level Three" upgrade with warranty. This includes cleaning, touch paint, operater traing at our facility.
