The Dusenbery model 635 can slit in razor or shear mode and is convertable to score slitting. The integral (attatched) unwind can accomodate 32" diameter or sometimes 40" diameter. Seperate unwinds may be added. The unwind is edge guided.  The brake is normally manually controlled or automatically using load cells.   Rewind diameter is 24" maximum and 21" maximum if using top riding idlers. The drive is a reliance 7.5 HP DC and a 7.5 HP motor. (drives can be updraded by Benick). Rewind mandrels are normally 3" for using 3" cores and can be modified, for example to 2" for 2" cores. This is a "core spacer" machine meaning the operator applies pressure to the spacers using pneumatic side loading which control how much tension is delivered to the winding roll. This also can be upgraded to automatic tension control.

 We sell "doffing carts" to put finished rewind shafts into or they can be put on a table. the most versitle converters slitter rewinder. Speeds to 500 FPM. Depending on slitting method and substrate will slit materils from under .001" to over .030". The rewind shafts, when full, are lifted out by the operaters or a simple overhead hoist.
