Kidder CW

One 62 inch wide Kidder model CW Simplex (Single rewind shaft) slitter rewinder. This is one of the best machines ever made for slitting non-extensible (stretchy) materials like paper and nonwovens. It is equipped with a 30 HP Reliance VS drive and DC motor. It is original to the machine and runs well. (This can be upgraded if requested.) The machine takes a 50 inch unwind with a hydraulic floor pick-up and can create a 50 inch diameter rewind with roll lowering. Speeds up to 1000 fpm. The unique slitting is particular to this model and works perfectly. We have slit down to two inches depending on the material and up to 50 inches here at benick on the machine in the photos.
