NEW TO BENICK MACHINEWORKS!
72" Dusenbery 835
Cantilevered Duplex Slitter Rewinder
The machine was manufactured in
2007, but it was only in production for 3 months. It
was pulled only because of a problem with the
application it was running.
The machine's rewind diameter is 24" on a 3" core
and
has minimum gap control. The Goldenrod rewind shafts included are
3" direct-friction air-differential, and 1 1/2" direct-friction
air-differential shafts. There is a four shaft unloader with the
machine that has 1 1/2” shafts and 3” sleeves for unloading either
size rewind mandrel.
There are three cork covered pull rolls; one pull roll before
slitting and two after slitting. This pull roll configuration
maintains proper tension during slitting and isolates tension at
the unwind and rewind .
The slitting type is score cut. The score cut platen-shaft rolls
out of the machine on rails for easy changing of the platen
sleeves, or changing to a different slitting method altogether.
Benick can change the slitting method to shear or razor slitting
if needed, and pneumatic top riding rolls can also be added if
desired.
The
machine's controls include an AB Panelview 1000 touch screen, an
AB PLC, and a Eurotherm AC vector two motor drive controller for a
10HP main, and 20HP rewind motor.
The slitter's unwind is a shafted type with a steel 3"
pneumatic-expanding Tidland unwind shaft. The maximum unwind
diameter is 40" but can be enlarged as needed. The edge guiding is
a Fife CDP-01 with a ultra sonic edge sensor; +/- travel on the
unwind is 3". The brake is a 12 Montalvo with 8 puck for easy
control of various weight master rolls. A bag edge roll is mounted
on the unwind to remove a slack master roll edge. The unwind
tension is automatic closed loop and uses a load cell roll to feed
back to the PLC.
This machine is located at our plant in Pomfert Center, CT and
upon purchase Benick will test run it, train your operators, and
offer a one year limited warranty. Call for price.
