The cork is a special milled covering for driven pullrolls. It is not necessary to use this cork on idler rolls, we offer self adhesive cork for idlers. See our part number 38790. OEM cork requires contact adhesive to be applied to the clean roll surface. Thickness of the cork is .078" +/- .002".
